Led by the Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union (AMWU) through the Building Women’s Careers initiative, with Tradeswomen Australia as a key delivery partner, this project is focused on increasing women’s participation and retention in trades and technical roles.
Spanning advanced manufacturing, clean energy, construction and digital technology, the project tackles workplace culture head-on. Tradeswomen Australia leads the design and delivery of customised Workplace Culture and Gender Equity Action Plans, supporting employers to create safer, more inclusive and more equitable workplaces.
TWA are collaborating with project partners Women’s Health in the North, Kangan Institute, Bendigo TAFE, AI Group, BGT Jobs & Training Ballarat and First Person Consulting.
